Trump Taj Mahal Expansion Program Begins
Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc. has begun the two hundred fifty million dollars hotel tower of Taj Mahal Casino Resort.
Mark Juliano, Chief Operating Officer of the company, said that the construction that has begun in July will boost the capacity to accommodate more guests.
The new tower will house an additional seven hundred eighty six rooms to Taj Mahal current one thousand two hundred fifty rooms.
Standing forty stories high and four hundred fifty feet tall, the tower room houses seven hundred sixteen special guest rooms and seventy suites with ocean views.
Friedmutter Group is the key architect in the project.
The new tower construction is another addition to the earlier announced one hundred ten million dollars renovation of the company and extension plan.
Construction of additional retail and dining entrance corridors to the Taj Mahal are also under way.
Chief Executive Officer of the Company, James B. Perry, said that the expansion in the Trump properties at Atlantic City is to tailor new entertainment choices for the customers.
The completed project includes the renovation of every hotel guest's room and the entire casino floor on the three Trump properties
Trump Marina Casino Hotel is also scheduled for renovations and the master plan is currently being designed.
